Hibari Torii (酉井 雲雀, Torii Hibari) is the type of woman to run her environment. After the disintegration of the Torii clan, she took a job at a grocery store to maintain a flow of income. She's struggling to adjust to this environment where she provides a service, rather than receiving it. Despite that, she is respected by everyone, even Tatsu.

Appearance[]
Hibari has brown hair that she keeps pinned back, brown eyes, thick lashes, manicured nails and she wears classic red lip tint to accentuate her features.
She wears a traditional dark maroon kimono that has various flowers/plants at the end of the sleeves and the bottom of her kimono with a purple obi sash in the back.
Personality[]
Hibari carries herself with dignity and grace, but grows rather flustered when caught in a mistake. She's used to being in charge, but having to abide by rules and serve customers is a hard adjustment for her.
Synopsis[]
Hibari didn't want the boys under the Torii clan to be left unemployed, so they all became grocery shop workers to suffice.
She encounters Tatsu by chance while he is on a shopping trip.
Etymology[]
- The name Hibari means "skylark" (雲雀), a common Eurasian and North African lark of farmland and open country, noted for its prolonged song during hovering flight.
- Hibari's surname Torii means "rooster" (酉) (tori) and "well, mine shaft, pit" (井) (i).

- Hibari's surname Eguchi means "bay, inlet" (江) (e) and "mouth, entrance" (口) (kuchi/guchi).
Trivia[]
- Hibari is the only character who has a full name.
- In Season 2, it is shown that Hibari loves cat as seen when she goes to a cat cafe and tries to make cat model by starting with the head through needle felting, but failed. However, Tatsu manages to fix it with his needle felting skills despite being to new to it.
